How we handle your data.
Contact enquiries
We collect your name, email address, project type, description and preferred timing, plus company and budget if provided. We use this information to answer your enquiry. Website records are kept in our private database for 90 days. A copy of your enquiry is delivered to contact@escapeburn.com through Hostinger Email so we can respond. Our team can also access enquiries through a private operator tool. Email correspondence may be retained for our work together and applicable recordkeeping obligations. Do not send passwords, payment details or sensitive personal information.
Preferences and form security
A functional cookie remembers your chosen language for up to one year. Your appearance choice is stored in your browser; otherwise we follow your device setting. The form uses a secure session cookie lasting 30 minutes, request limits and an HMAC of the network address. Temporary counters expire automatically; the application does not store the raw address. These preferences are not used for advertising.
Language selection
Each language has a separate URL. The optional automatic entry uses your saved choice, then your browser language, then English. You can change language at any time. We do not request precise location or send your IP address to an external geolocation service.
Visits and technical logs
We use our own GoatCounter installation for aggregate visit and contact-click statistics, without analytics cookies or advertising trackers. It processes page, referrer, browser, operating system, screen size and approximate country; IP address and browser type are used temporarily in memory to distinguish visits, for up to eight hours. The web server separately keeps technical access logs for security and operations for 14 days. Query strings are excluded from the new website access log.
Our internal tools
Escapeburn HQ connects, with our authorization, to our own YouTube, TikTok, Discord and GitHub accounts using their official APIs. We use it to see our statistics, content and messages, and to prepare replies that require our approval. It is not a service for other users. Our TikTok Login Kit and Display API integration reads our account profile and our own video information and statistics. Disconnecting an account stops access. HQ data stays on our computer; access keys are encrypted by the operating system.
Storage, providers and your choices
Website enquiries are stored on our server with restricted access. Our hosting and email providers process data as needed to deliver those services. We do not sell personal data or use enquiries for unsolicited marketing. You can request access, correction or deletion by emailing contact@escapeburn.com. Necessary legal or contractual records may need to be retained. Backup copies expire on a rolling 14-day schedule.
